More and more shops and parts stores ask us what TSS is. Here is the short answer: where the brand comes from, what it sells and where to get it.
The TSS story, from 1978 to today
TSS was born in 1988 in Venezuela. It grew out of a family business that started in 1978 selling engines and began selling transmission parts in 1986. Transmisiones Veinte 07 was founded in Mexico in 2007, and Sun Transmissions in the United States in 2012: the two companies that sell the brand today.
TSS brings that experience together in its own brand, built for mechanics: quality first, at a competitive price. The full story is on our timeline.
Aftermarket parts with OEM-comparable quality
TSS is an aftermarket brand: it is not original equipment (OEM). Its parts aim for quality comparable to the original, and every product goes through quality control. The OEM numbers in the catalog are cross-references only, to help you find the right part.
What TSS sells
The catalog has +2,200 products in six categories:
- Automatic transmission filters
- Gasket kits
- Hydraulic power steering
- Electrical parts
- Bands
- Clutch plates
You can also search by transmission model, for example the 4L60E.
Where to buy TSS
TSS is sold through authorized distributors: Transmisiones Veinte 07 in Zapopan, Jalisco, the main distributor in Mexico, and Sun Transmissions in Miami, Florida. The distributor map has their addresses and phone numbers, and you can buy online from Sun Transmissions or the TSS collection at Transmisiones Veinte 07.
